An interactive workshop for teams, leaders, movers & shakers.
What would happen if you gave your team the opportunity to reignite trust, creativity, and connection to their work in a critic-free environment? You’re about to find out.
What it is
Unmute Your Team is an interactive workshop for teams and leaders designed to build trust, strengthen morale, and improve the nature, tenor, and skills of communication.
During this unique and engaging workshop, your team will be led through an experience that has the power to shift the way they think and talk about their work—and to each other.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Experience an approach to work that fosters creativity, connection, and confidence
- Practice speaking up in a group to share ideas and give critic-free feedback
- Demonstrate and explore your skills and talents in a competition-free environment
- Empower and connect with each other in a way you might not have time or opportunity to do in the normal course of business — and which will resonate long after the event itself
This approach is informed by best practices drawn from neuroscience and management research, public speaking, creative writing, storytelling, and even stand-up comedy—and draws on practices written up in the pages of Harvard Business Review.
I’ve been leading these workshops with people of all backgrounds and experience—from business owners to top executives, admins, and teams at companies like L’Oreal, Google, Wells Fargo, and more.
Give your team the chance to explore their individual excellence and contributions—and be validated in the moment of creation (when we’re often most vulnerable).
This can profoundly change the way you and they see their work, their contribution—and themselves.
How it works
The workshop itself is part teaching, and part doing/interacting. I’ll lead you through a process based on what’s called The Gateless Method designed to quiet the critic and tap your creative insights and ingenuity—all while cultivating an atmosphere of positivity and trust. To maintain the safety of this container, we adhere to certain rules, and bear witness to one another without judgment.
The size of the group doesn’t matter, virtual or in person. All they’ll need is a notebook or their laptop (either is fine).
I will work with you to ensure that our workshop agenda fits your timeframe and group size!
Next steps
If you’d like to get this on your team’s calendar, we’ll zip over an agreement and invoice for the deposit, and get our pre-event strategy session on the books.
**Please note that we can hold dates up to 10 days without a contract and deposit before the dates are released.**
